JIXENWELL CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP

Welcome to the Any Variety Gundog Challenge! This exciting competition is open to all Gundog breeds, excluding Spaniels, and focuses on testing their exceptional retrieval skills. Participants will navigate through various scenarios, including long retrieves, blind retrieves, and memory retrieves, all while showcasing the handler's ability to guide their dog effectively. 

​At the Game and Country Fairs, we host Qualifying Events for our competitions that truly test the skills of both dogs and handlers. These qualifiers are conducted without any prior practice, ensuring that the competition reflects the genuine abilities of the participants rather than just the dog's memory. Each day, we proudly announce the winner, who will earn a complimentary entry to our Final at the Sandringham Game and Country Fair, where we'll crown our Challenge Champion over two thrilling days of competition. Join us at the Jixenwell Challenge Final at the Sandringham Game Country Fair, where the excitement reaches new heights! Over two thrilling days, our Any Variety Gundogs and Spaniels Only competitions showcase the finest canine talent as dogs and handlers navigate a series of challenging scenarios. Starting with the year's top Qualifier winners, each timed event determines which remarkable dogs progress to the next stage. Ultimately, we crown a Challenge Winner from both competitions, leading to an exhilarating head-to-head showdown to determine our Jixenwell Challenge Champion!

Introducing our exciting Team Challenge Competition for 2025. Gather a minimum of three dogs (maximum 5 dogs), including at least one Spaniel, to five dummies under timed conditions. This competition will take place exclusively on the second day of each qualifying event. Individuals can compete in multiple teams initially, but once a team qualifies, no individual member may join another team (irrespective of different dogs).

Qualified teams will earn an invitation to the prestigious Team Challenge Final at our Sandringham Game and Country Fair in September!
