About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At Jixenwell Gundogs, we create engaging, well-run environments where working dogs can showcase their natural instincts, ability, and drive.
Founded and run by Davina Wiles, Jixenwell focuses on professionally organised gundog scurries, demonstrations, and competitive events at UK game fairs and country shows.
Our events are designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable — whether you are competing, spectating, or discovering gundog work for the first time. Every Jixenwell event places equal value on good handling, good sportsmanship, and the wellbeing of the dogs involved.

Our Story
Founded by Davina in 2021, Jixenwell Gundogs is committed to the promotion and development of gundog work through professionally run events and competitions.
Jixenwell Gundogs has been running gundog scurries and activities at UK country shows and game fairs for over five years, building a reputation for well-organised, friendly, and inclusive events.
Working closely with experienced handlers, volunteers, and well-trained dogs, Jixenwell is best known for the Jixenwell Challenge — a competitive event that highlights exceptional working dogs from across the country.
Jixenwell is organised and managed by Davina Wiles, who coordinates all bookings, show relationships, logistics, volunteers, and scheduling.
